McKinley Law Online, LLC (MLO) is owned by me, Wm. Bruce McKinley, and provides legal services and counsel regarding Mississippi Law. I have been an attorney for 30 years and am a graduate of Millsaps College and the University of Mississippi School of Law. My extensive civil legal experience includes practice before Mississippi state and federal courts including the Mississippi Circuit Courts, Mississippi Chancery Courts, Mississippi Court of Appeals, Mississippi Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi. I have also appeared before numerous state and federal appellant courts and agencies such as the United States Fifth, Eleventh, and District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Mississippi Public Service Commission (MPSC) and the Mississippi State Personnel Board (MSPB). I have also served as General Counsel and Hearing Examiner for the MPSC. I have been on the Board of Directors of the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District and am a Mississippi certified Mediator and a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitrator.

Over my thirty year of law practice, I have witnessed a growing perception that quality access to our legal system is reserved for the wealthy and large corporations. I believe providing cost-effective, quality and efficient legal services by using the latest technology will make attorneys more affordable to more people resulting in greater access to legal services. MLO is a web based virtual law office in Mississippi offering fixed price legal services and advice by a Mississippi licensed attorney. You will be informed upfront what MLO legal services will cost. Once we have agreed on the price and the Terms and Conditions of the legal services agreement published on this website, you will quickly be able to receive and pay for the legal service requested. All payments are processed by Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) compliant credit card processors, and no credit card or payment account numbers are stored on MOL servers. If I am unable to provide all of the necessary services related to your request, I will refer you at no charge to another Mississippi attorney.
